This is Gabby's third year coaching for Hungary Creek and her first year as co-head coach. She began swimming with the Marlins when she was six, swam competitively at NOVA of Virginia Aquatics for eight years, and currently swims at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. 

Gabby is finishing her first year at W&L and is planning to major in neuroscience on the pre-health track. She loves hanging out with friends, listening to music, and being out in the sun. She can't wait to be back home with the Marlins, and she is super excited for a fun swim season!

This is Libby Miyashita's first year as head coach at Hungary Creek, but she has been a part of our team for about 11 years now. She is a 2025 graduate from Glen Allen High School where she swam varsity for 4 years. She has also swam year round at SwimRVA for 5 years and is now attending Salisbury University, on the swim team, and an elementary education major. 

Libby loves to talk, hang out with friends, bake and cook, and go to the beach. She's excited to see what the Marlins can do this summer! Go Marlins, Go!

This is Kiersten's first year coaching for Hungary Creek. She has been swimming year-round for 12 years at Nova of Virginia Aquatics and has swum for her high school team for 4 years. Kiersten is finishing her senior year of high school at J.R. Tucker. Next year she is committed to swim competitively for Villanova University and majoring in Business. 

In her free time she enjoys running, cooking, playing the piano, and spending time with friends and family. She looks forward to a fun season and is super excited to get to know all the new swimmers! Go Marlins!

This is Madelyn's first year as Junior Coach, but she has been a part of our team for many years! She has been swimming year-round for 10 years. Madelyn started swimming at the YMCA before moving to the Hanover Hurricanes. She also has been on the Glen Allen High School Swim Team for three years. She is finishing up her junior year in high school and can't wait for all the new memories senior year will bring. Madelyn loves to hang out with friends, go to the beach, hang out with family, and take her dog on walks. She is so excited to meet and see everyone and have a great season. Go Marlins!!

This is Evan‘s first year coaching at HCRA, but he has been a member of the Marlins Swim Team since 2019 and competed on the dive team for one year.

Evan just completed his sophomore year at Glen Allen High School and plans to attend college for business information technology after graduating.

Evan loves music and spends his free time playing guitar. He also plays both volleyball and lacrosse for Glen Allen. Evan loves dogs, spending time with his friends, golfing, biking and the beach. He’s very excited for the swim team season and can’t wait to see everyone work hard and earn those ribbons.
